Posture Pal vs Poxture
If you wear AirPods all day, Posture Pal can tell you when your posture slips, using the headphones you already have on. If you don't, or you take them out between calls, Poxture watches how you sit through your Mac's camera instead.

What Posture Pal is
Posture Pal is an app for iPhone and Mac, sold by Jordi Bruin. Its App Store listing says it helps you improve your neck and shoulder posture "by using the motion sensors in your headphones". It supports AirPods (3rd generation), AirPods Pro, AirPods Max and Beats Fit Pro, and its listing says you can "Receive notifications (also on your Apple Watch!) when bad posture is detected".1
What it costs
Posture Pal is free to download. On 21 October 2026 its US App Store listing showed these in-app purchases: Posture Pal Pro $19.99, Annual Subscription $24.99, Monthly Subscription $6.99 and Weekly Subscription $3.99.1
Privacy
Posture Pal works from your headphones' motion sensors, not a camera. Its App Store privacy label lists one kind of data, usage data, not linked to you and used for analytics.1
Poxture does use a camera. Its camera images never leave your Mac. The privacy page lists what the app does send and how to turn the usage counts off.
How Poxture is different
Poxture needs nothing but your Mac. By default it checks how you sit once a minute. When you've been leaning in, looking down or propping your chin for three checks in a row, a soft glow at the top of the screen tells you, and a card shows how to fix it.
It runs only on a Mac. Posture Pal also runs on your iPhone.1
